I thought this store was a great place and we had the best experience while we were there, but this QUICKLY came to a halt. I will not use them again and I would not recommend others to use them as they don't stand behind their products. I bought quite a bit of the the Mongolian Desert Corinth tile from the Tile Store on Richmond in Houston. We received these in several boxes when we picked them up because they were shipped from several different stores to get the quantity I needed. Let me also mention, "I" paid additional shipping fees for those to get to the Houston store. Now that we are home and opening them to use, there are fewer good tiles than bad ones. At least closer to a 50/50 ratio. They are clearly delaminating and there are MANY broken pieces. I called the store and explained the situation and they chose to not do a refund or work with us, without even asking to see what we were talking about. They said it was because it is a discontinued product. We'll, thanks for that information. I would understand if we were trying to return because we bought too many or something, but that's clearly not the case. They literally sold us UNUSABLE tile and expect NOT to make things right by the customer because of their "discontinued product" policy. So instead, they rounded up all their junk and sold it to us. There are plenty of tile stores around so ensure you pick one that will stand behind their products!

My wife and I were at odds with our respective styles for the master bathroom. Went to many other tile retailers and no resolution. We got a suggestion to visit the Tile Shop. TBH, I was expecting a similar experience. Then we met Leon and he really helped us navigate our styles and we ended up settling on a style we both really loved. And the delivery went smooth as well. Was very happy with the experience. Will go back for sure.

Really impressed with the tile selection here. They have a wide variety of styles, colors, and textures, making it easy to compare options for different spaces. I was especially focused on bathroom design, and the displays gave great inspiration for layouts, shower walls, and flooring combinations. The staff were helpful in explaining the differences between materials and finishes. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable experience for anyone planning a bathroom upgrade.

A great boutique style tile store. Fantastic selection of diverse products. Well priced tile and often in stock or quickly available. Great staff that are wonderful at helping to coordinate designs for everyone.

I have to say this was one of the more frustrating parts of my kitchen remodel. First, I worked with Scott Bixler (there are at least two Scotts). He was amazing. 10/10 I would work with him any day. He was great with the selection, followed up quickly, let me know when my order would be in, etc. An absolute professional. Everyone else I interacted with was not so great. First off when picking up my order the order picker and the person who checked my order both missed that they gave me the wrong grout color. The color is only labeled on a small sticker and the powder is white, so I only noticed when I mixed up the grout that I noticed the color was wrong. If I had used a contractor, this would have been a major major issue, and I probably would have had to tear it out and start again. Scott was nice enough to replace the grout with the right color and replace the used special mixing fluid for free, but it meant I couldn't finish the job on the weekend I alloted for it because the store is closed on Sundays. Then when I returned the extra tile, the return didn't go through. The guy relatively new, and everyone has to learn, however he should have followed up with a co-worker after the co-worker was done with other clients to make sure that it was processed correctly. It was fairly obvious that he didn't know what to do, quoted me three different return prices, couldn't print a receipt, and eventually told me to take photos of his computer screen as a receipt after 45 minutes of him trying to figure out if he did the right thing or not. After not seeing the return on my credit card for 13 days, I emailed Scott and he got it figured out, but it shouldn't be the customer's responsibility to be checking that a return happened. Scott said the new guy did process the return correctly, but that the system was updating and caused it to be cancelled. Either way, the return didn't happen. Computer systems shouldn't be updating during store hours if that is going to cause business interruptions. One thing after another was frustrating to deal with, and frankly if Scott wasn't as good as he was at fixing all of these issues, this review would be a 1 star. They do have a good selection, just know that the process is going to be a pain, and you have to stay on top of them every single step of the way. The guy who checked my order did encourage me to try the project as a DIY, which I appreciated.
