My wife and I met with Mike at Texon solar to put panels on the back of our new house and 2 batteries for back up. We spent 3 days working with him to size our system and work out all our details. Once we signed the contract, I thought we had a good deal. Expensive but seemed like a good company to go with that has the history and reviews to back up that we made a good choice. We were assigned a PM named Kaylie who seemed to be on top of our installation. Our first warning should have been when the first installation crew showed up to measure and decide where to put our system. They showed up in a U-haul truck. I wouldn't have known they work for Texon Solar except for one of the guys wearing a Texon Solar t-shirt. They spent about 30 min walking around and talking about how difficult our install is going to be. It did NOT leave us with a warm fuzzy feeling. After reaching back out to our PM Kaylie, she promptly went internally and assured us that the install would be what we originally designed and paid for. Next warning should have been over the past almost 2 weeks when our PM stopped responding to emails, calls, and texts. After getting frustrated, I reached out to our salesman, Mike with no response. Next day I reached out to their main number and spoke with Chelsea, Texon Solar COO. She informed me that Texon Solar is no longer doing residential sales or installations. She apologized for the situation but directed me to QCell going forward. I'm still waiting on a response from them on how we get solar added to our home. Overall, my wife and I are extremely disappointed (and almost disgusted) with all that has happened. I had high expectations after our meetings with Mike and research into Texon about how great this experience was going to be. Now we are stuck holding the bag with a very expensive contract with a company I have no knowledge of and haven't met with. We have no idea the contractors they plan to send to our house to install this system or if they will do the work properly. It almost feels like a bait and switch operation. I do not recommend them for any work going forward.

We got several quotes for solar energy and it seemed that most of the other people were there to sell us solar. Everyone we spoke to with Texon Solar seemed genuinely interested in finding the best solution for my family. Our panels were just installed and we are excited about our new solar energy system.

Please tell the owner that Chelsea is doing a great job! She was very informative in explaining exactly how the process works. It was refreshing that there wasn’t a high-pressure sales presentation. We are looking forward to our new solar energy from Texon! Thanks!

Chelsea and Steven Kahn helped me install solar panels onto my home. The process was easy and they were available for any questions I had and helped me understand how solar power helped my finances in the long run. I’d absolutely recommend their company if you’re considering Solar power.

I highly recommend Texon solar!! My experience from the initial meeting throughout the entire project was very informative, stress free, and extremely confident! Steve and the sales team explained everything from start to finish and answered any questions along the way. Genuine people!
