Great upgrade!! Wonderful team to work with. We were replacing a roof, with a 12 year old system. 512 never pushed features or upgrades, yet we quickly realized that new tech and current rebates made it a good time to double production while making the system smaller with a better arrangement on the roof. Now plenty of production to fill our EV. Delighted to work with such a team of professionals
512 Solar was AWESOME! I got a plug-in hybrid car in December that was taking me 16 hours to fully charge, which was way too long. I decided I needed to install a Level 2 Charger. After looking around online, I stumbled across 512 Solar on a Reddit thread. They were just fabulous! Austin from 512 Solar was super helpful with telling me exactly what I needed to give to them for the initial quote (I am clueless on electrical/house stuff) and walking me through the process/what to expect as well as answering my questions and my landlord's questions thoroughly and promptly. I paid them the deposit on Thursday, ordered my Level 2 charger, and had everything installed by 512 Solar on the following Tuesday. 512 Solar made sure to give me everything I needed to submit my rebate for the City of Austin EV program. My Level 2 charger now charges my car fully in 4.5 hours. 512 Solar did a great job and were very reasonably priced! Use them if you need to install a Level 2 Charger! You won't regret it it!
512 Solar has been the best solar company I’ve worked with since Forever Freedom filed Chapter 11 and left us without support or warranty. 512 Solar stepped in, diagnosed the issues, coordinated directly with the manufacturer, and got my system fully operational again. 512 Solar did a great job on installing my home EV charger. Their online reps were great and quick responding. They helped decide on the correct unit for my needs and facilitating the Austin Energy Rebate. The crew that performed the actual install were equally professional, and made helpful suggestions on the best places to mount the unit based on my needs. 512 also came in with a better quote than three other companies suggested by Austin Energy for the project.
We had our solar panels, with a couple of Powerwalls installed 17 months ago and it was a great experience with 512Solar. They were professional, highly knowledgeable, and well-communicated from start to finish. Everything was done on time, and the system has performed exactly as expected. We had a failure showing up on the Tesla app a couple of weeks ago. They diagnosed a DC ground fault and tracked down the root cause (a couple of MCI2s and an MC4 connector), fixed everything, and made sure the system was fully operational again. Prompt, transparent, and thorough service like that is what I had read a lot of reviews on when researching who to trust our investment with. It’s clear they stand behind their work. Great experience and I would highly recommend JB, Austin, Marco and the rest of the team.
