At the point in my insurance claim that the insurance company approved repair of hail damage I was directed to find a company. Since I’m a veteran, I just searched veteran roofing companies, and Veteran Brothers came up. I ended up going with them and I’m glad I did. The insurance company said there was $8000 of damage and it turned out It was more like $38,000. So my complete roof was replaced and looks great. The cleanup afterwards was impressive. There’s not a nail to be found in my yard anywhere. They’re getting ready to do the interior to put it back together as my water damage caused a ceiling collapse and I have to agree that the process has been smooth. The communication has been great and the coordination between the different contractors by the project manager. Daniel has also been impressive.
These guys did such a great job, even going the extra mile with my difficult situation. They all were wonderful in prepping me for the process and they handled the entire process with my insurance company. I really appreciate good experiences like this. Special shoutout to Patrick, Josiah, Daniel, Mason and Tori. What a great team!
I contacted this company for a simple quote on replacing a couple of roof vents. Before even seeing my roof, they were already pushing for a full replacement, a red flag I should have taken more seriously. They came out and conducted a lengthy inspection, at the end of which they insisted my entire roof needed to be replaced. When I told them I needed time to think it over, the rep's response was shockingly unprofessional: he told me that since I wasn't ready to commit on the spot, I "wasn't going to be a good fit" for them, and walked out without providing the vent quote I had originally requested. Not only did they waste my time with a high-pressure sales pitch, they failed to deliver on the one thing they actually promised. If you're looking for honest, straightforward service, look elsewhere. This felt less like a contractor visit and more like a timeshare presentation.
This company went above and beyond compared to any other roofing companies we had look at our house. They basically fought for us with Allstate for about 13 months and went through various levels of rejection to get Allstate to finally agree to pay the claim, and all parts of the claim that were covered in the policy. They communicated very well, kept us in the loop for the entire 13 months, were always respectful, and very positive people to work with throughout the entire process.
I was pulling some shelving off my walls in the garage and noticed what appeared to be a leak from the flashing above. The roof was installed when we bought the house in 2021. And (it just so happened) Davon from veteran brothers roofing and restoration showed up a few days later, asking about the condition of my roof, I told him I discover a leak and had not got around to calling anyone, and I also said he was welcome to climb up there and take a look. After he inspected the roof and took pictures, he prepared a report for my insurance company, stating there was hail damage to the flashing and multiple areas of the roof. So I started the claim process with my insurance company. A few weeks later my insurance company totaled out my roof and sent me a check. Davon attention to detail made the process seamless, as was his knowledge in roofing materials. I decided, replacing a roof after every hail storm is not ideal and Davon introduced me to the TEK hurricane shake pro metal roof. After getting my HOA approval 3 weeks later, my new class 4 roof was installed. I got a significant drop in my insurance premiums (1/3), peace of mind from future damage and my attic is cooler to boot. Davon and the guys of veteran brothers roofing and restoration did a fabulous job and I cannot recommend them enough.
