I have had a really positive experience with Harcourts Launceston and their property management team. Kaila has been especially helpful. She handled my recent matter efficiently and kept everything clear and stress-free. I also really appreciate her support across a few other issues as well. She is always responsive, professional. A big thank you as well to Kate for overseeing everything and ensuring a smooth experience. It is clear the team genuinely cares about providing good service and supporting their clients. Overall, I have been really enjoying the service and it is definitely one of the best property management experiences I have had so far. Highly recommend.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this agency has been extremely disappointing. I purchased my property through them and later appointed them to manage it as a rental. The property remained vacant for more than 80 days, resulting in significant financial loss and unnecessary stress. During this entire period, communication was poor and there was little evidence of any urgency to secure a tenant. Once the management agreement was signed, it became incredibly difficult to get hold of anyone. Calls to the property manager often went unanswered, and even calls to the office were frequently ignored. I constantly had to chase updates instead of receiving proactive communication. Week after week, I was told there were applications being considered, only to be informed the following week that the applicants had backed out or that the application had not proceeded for some other reason. This pattern repeated for months without any meaningful progress, clear strategy, or accountability. What concerns me most is the lack of care shown towards a landlord's investment. A property sitting vacant for nearly three months has serious financial consequences, yet I never felt that my concerns were taken seriously or that anyone was genuinely committed to resolving the issue. The most telling part of this experience is what happened after I terminated their management agreement and appointed another agency. The new agency secured a tenant and leased the property within just 8 days. That outcome speaks for itself and raises serious questions about the effort, strategy, and effectiveness of the previous management. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this agency to property investors or landlords. Poor communication, lack of responsiveness, and an inability to deliver results cost me both time and money. I wish I had changed agencies much sooner.

Unprofessional, irresponsible, and zero accountability. We bought an investment property through this agency and, unfortunately, chose to trust them with the rental management. It was a massive mistake that caused us nothing but immense frustration and stress. From the beginning, their service was incredibly poor. They completely overpriced the rental market strategy, showed zero responsibility, and basic communication was nonexistent. Trying to get them to answer phone calls or reply to urgent messages was an absolute nightmare. They simply do not care about customer satisfaction. Things got so bad that we eventually escalated the entire matter to the General Manager. We expected leadership to step in and fix the situation, but they failed to take it seriously, offered no solutions, and absolutely nothing changed. Fed up with the lack of results, we finally terminated our agreement and moved to another agency. The new agency found us a qualified tenant within 7 days, exactly as they promised—proving just how incompetent this company's management team truly is. If you are an investor looking for a reliable, responsible team to manage your asset, look elsewhere. Save yourself the stress and avoid this agency at all costs.

I had a very disappointing experience with Amanda Faulkner during a recent property negotiation. I was initially told that the vendor had accepted my offer, however I later discovered that the property was sold to another buyer. During this time, unbeknownst to us, friends of ours had submitted a lower offer on the same property. They were informed that their offer was not successful. She then provided them the opportunity and guidance to increased their offer above ours, which was then accepted by the vendor. The handling of this process left me feeling misled and extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism and transparency shown throughout the negotiation. The successful buyers later disclosed the details of their interactions with the agent, which made it evident that the negotiation process continued after I was told my offer had been accepted. In my view, the matter was not conducted appropriately and appeared inconsistent with the obligations of honesty and fair dealing.

Excellent on both counts. Jake's professionalism coupled with his knowledge of the market resulted in my home selling for a great price, before it went to market, saving me money, inconvenience, and time. He also found me the perfect home to buy before it went fully on the market! His friendly manner, and his availability, made a stressful and emotional time much easier. I would recommend him to anyone looking to sell and buy a property. Jake's knowledge of the market, communication and professionalism were second to none! I was impressed by Jake's friendly manner and enthusiasm. His communication was excellent. His knowledge of the market, and his understanding of my needs resulted in the finding of the perfect property for me. I could not be happier.
