Just spoke with a pharmacist at HEB. I wish I caught his name but he took time with me over the phone to help me be compliant with a very important medication I need to take. He went as far as to ask me to put a reminder in my Google Calendar to align with my script expiration and when to reach out to my doctor. My doctor would be so proud to have a pharmacist that not only knows meds but supports patient compliance. Really appreciated this pharmacist and his commitment to patient care. This is rare these days! He needed to be recognized with 5 stars!

Empty shelves, unfriendly associates, messy store. I did not even finish my list because so many things they were out of and nobody to ask. The checker was the friendliest one there and he was from another location. I love HEB, but will not go back there. I did not visit the pharmacy

Edit: Still love the staff! They are friendly and helpful only issue is when a certain medication is forever on back order, it’s very disruptive as im a flight attendant and fly out of the country with time zone changes and for weeks at a time. I find it hard to believe they don’t know when they are getting a shipment in because these medications are controlled so it’s not like “surprise”. Plus H‑E‑B always says “delayed 1-2 days” then 2 days later, you get another text saying 1-2 days and then again and again. It’s frustrating because i dont want to call around as other H‑E‑B treat you like an addict. I’ve been on the same medication for years, no changes at all. They also selectively chose who to give it do which is unfair. I love H‑E‑B and love this location i just wish they were more fair and understand my career is unique and complex. Again staff is great but they should not have a customer wait a week or more for medication. I’ve lost work days because of this The best pharmacy ever. Honestly, since I moved to Texas, I am so happy I found H-E-B pharmacy especially this location because they’re understanding down to earth and they understand peoples unique situations and I just have to give them a five star. In New York City, pharmacies could care less about you. I just had to give a shout out to this pharmacy staff. I don’t even leave reviews like that.

This store is located in the city of Houston,with convenient transportation and a large parking lot that is free. The food in the store has a wide variety and is fresh and cheap. It is the largest joint store of food stores in Texas.

I recently transferred to this pharmacy after my preferred one closed. The only thing I can say is that this pharmacy does not even deserve one star. My experience has been consistently disappointing: * I have been waiting for weeks for prescriptions to be filled. * I repeatedly receive notices that items are out of stock and delayed, only to be told later they are in stock, and then told they are out of stock again. * Do not plan on picking up all of your prescriptions at one time. You will likely need to make multiple trips to have your prescriptions filled at this location. I have now been waiting nearly a month for my prescriptions. Because of the delay, I have to schedule another out-of-pocket doctor's appointment just to have the prescription transferred to a reliable pharmacy. This location may be adequate for one-time or non-essential prescriptions. However, if you are depending on a pharmacy to provide your regular refills and necessary prescriptions in a timely manner, this is not the pharmacy for you. The service is very disappointing.
