Never had my nails done before, but the nail tech was very kind. I arrived about 10 minutes early to my appointment I had booked in advance and was sat down almost immediately. While the appointment itself took a while, I feel it was worth it as my nail tech really seemed to be taking her time to make sure they were perfect. They responded well to my requests and the nails don't feel too thick despite how many coats I was given. The nails feel smooth and are not rough at the edges at all. Overall, a great experience that ended with cuticle oil and hand cream. They were all very polite and patient with me.

Wow, what a fall from grace, see below for original review and further down for updated review: ORIGINAL REVIEW: 3 appointments. Never broke a nail. I’ve attended this salon three times in a row all over the last 2 or so months with consistent results - see photos. Also worth mentioning is, I do not do any arduous work with my hands. My hands are not exposed to any consistently intense experiences. I do however frequently use my hands in water to complete household chores without gloves and gardening. Nail appointment: The appointment itself was similar each time - with some small discrepancies. The staff are kind and polite, while maintaining professionalism. Two of my appointments were at the opening time and the third was just after lunch. They are a popular salon, so I found it the most relaxing and time efficient to go first thing in the morning. The afternoon appointment was a slightly drawn out experience (despite being pre-booked). I arrived on time but was sat in foils to soak off my SNS for almost 50 minutes when usually it’s about 15 minutes, the total appointment time was just shy of 2 hrs on that day (a normal appointment will go for 1hr 30 minutes, at most). Other variables consist of: a) at only the second appointment was I provided with cuticle oil post-treatment (despite this not being the manicure appointment). In my many years attending nail salons, it’s become common practice to always end with cuticle oil, so it’s absence was felt. b) the price to add-on a manicure changed between appointment 1 and 2 (going from $5 to $10 - not a big issue but worth noting). c) the opening hours on Google are also not accurate. Some changes to their hours have been made which you’ll find on their loyalty card. Mostly half an hr discrepancies on the opening time - I’d recommend calling the day before to confirm. Result: Fortunately, the craftsmanship and talent here is worth the occasional wait. Each time I was impressed with the result and pleased with the check-ins throughout the process. The staff took feedback well, they responded and adapted quickly and made me feel comfortable to ask for any changes I desired. I had 2 sets of oval shape and 1 set of almond shape, all executed beautifully. Longevity: I feel it’s worth mentioning the combination I get when I attend this salon. Each time I had SNS with a shellac top coat. The first appointment I also had a manicure. The nails last at least 3 weeks each time. No breaks. No cracks. No issues at all (as evidenced by the attached photos which were all taken right before I had them taken off and refilled). It’s quite impressive how long these nails last and the attention to craftsmanship so consistently held by the technicians. I would highly recommend. Price: Each time I paid $50 for SNS with tips and a shellac top coat - which is right where I’d expect it to be. Very recently, a 1.9% EFTPOS charge has been added to services, taking the price up to $50.95 if you pay by card. UPDATED REVIEW - July 2021: A disappointing turn of events. My last set of SNS (2-3 weeks ago) was rushed as they were fully booked, as a result 3 nails came off (mostly due to lifting), and a further 3 nails lifted but didn’t come off. In salon experience has decreased. Certain detailed SNS finishes are not available if they’re fully booked, even if you book, and you’re only told once you arrive (nail art, ombré, etc). My most recent appointment was for SNS soak off and manicure. I booked in advance. From arrival to leaving it took just over an hr. I was itching to leave by the end of it and didn’t even wait for the clear coat to dry. As my SNS was soaking off, I was asked to get up and go back to the waiting area (which has never happened here before and felt really odd). Two girls already sitting in the waiting area, meant the only safe option was to stand. I arrived at 2:20pm, it took almost half an hour to get my nails in foil to soak off. I was left standing in the waiting area for 20 minutes and ultimately only spent 10 mins with the technician. Very sad

First time customer and now forever customer! 100% recommend. Had a spa mani and pedi with Rota (Sorry unsure of spelling) and it was so nice. She was so gentle and thorough. Such a nice experience! I have been getting my toes done roughly every 2 months for 10 years now, I feel that a lot of spas rush the massage and not as thorough, to get customers in and out. This massage was amazing, they use hot rocks and take their time. I don’t normally write reviews but after my experience, I had to! Thank you Rota xx

I’ve been seeing the nails bar team for 4 years now and no one beats them! The staff are always incredibly accomodating and detailed when doing my nails. I recommend them to everyone and have my mum and sister hooked too! Love getting our manicures and pedicures done by the amazing staff🥰
