This location is great. The chef really knows how to grill everything perfectly, and the overall food quality was excellent. The salad was fresh, and the service was quick and friendly. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality you get. Parking validation is available for 1.5 hours, which is a nice bonus. Highly recommended!
So far I'm going to rate the food after we order. Maybe I'll change the review. Place is cute and cozy. We were treated very disrespectful at the door by a woman. She yelled at us very aggressively. I mean really like she was gonna fight. We were wearing summer dresses and on a girls outing waiting to be seated, excited about trying a new place next door to another place we went to get a massage at. Granted we were in a fabulous mood. But I wanted to leave but the girls wanted to stay. Waiter was nice. I'm not sure why this woman spoke down to us. But we are not crap. Come on Panini Kabob, do better. A male customer was listening in and walked out at that point. I will change the review if it changes before we get our food to go. Please is air conditioning, place is roomy and cute. Vibe besides the uncalled for aggressive mistreatment is a beautiful vibe. I do like this place. I also saw her yell at a black woman customer, same woman. Update: Woman was another Waitress. But we did stay and invite more people and got some wine. My sis had a baby and it was a spacious place for us. We did order a lot and I got to sample many foods and each one was phenomenal. The waiter was kind. Everything ended up ok. And the cook did a superb job. I don't understand what happened in the beginning, maybe she was stressed, but I felt so weird to stay. But I would have missed out on such a nice place. If I can guarantee I won't be treated that way, I could see potential for event gatherings here, because of the space and the taste of the food. Because of food service by other water, moving 1 star to 3. I'm very weary about going back because of how we were treated initially, but the food is almost that good to out up with the rude behavior. My friends and family liked it. So we may be back.
Very good food here! Honestly I love Mediterranean food! I took my family and we had the salmon, steak, and kids chicken! Of course the food was delicious! But the service was very dull, the waiter didn't exactly speak up and was not very talkative, the other waiter had his pants down low and it's never a good look when you have such a good establishment, the bathrooms were clean and fully stocked, the best part was the tiramisu which was fantastic! I loved it so much! But definitely if you want good Mediterranean food this is a good spot! Just don't expect the most outstanding service because it's really lacking
We ordered the chicken kabab and looleh kabab with pilaf and an avocado salad, and overall it was a really satisfying meal. The flavors were well balanced — the pilaf was warm and comforting, the avocado salad was fresh and light, and the looleh kabab was juicy and full of flavor. The chicken kabab was tasty as well, though a few bites were a bit too charred for my taste. We went on Saturday around lunch time and had about a 20-minute wait, which honestly wasn’t bad. Once seated, everything came together nicely, and the food was worth the short wait. A solid spot if you’re craving kabab with fresh sides.
Arrived ~4pm on a weekday, parked in front (public metered parking on Colorado Blvd), went inside and was seated immediately (party of 2). Our server arrived quickly and took our order (we knew exactly what we wanted having been to other PKGs around the southland). The food was delicious as always and came shortly after ordering. Compliments to the chefs on their cooking (taste and speed)! A tip, the portions on the kebob combos are VERY fair and opting for a split with the $4 fee gets you your own full salad and rice servings - more than enough for 2, and well worth the price! Highly recommended overall - a happy customer that will be returning often!
