They deserve more then 5 stars. I went there to get my car serviced and my front seatbelts replaced, thinking my seatbelts would be fixed by someone else. They did a thourogh job with my car service When the other company let me down with my seatbelts, I was given recomendations by one of the mecanics and Emma the receptionists, who recomended Pabs. I was able to get my seatbelts replaced, due to that. They really went out of their way to help, even keeping my car there for three days, since I obviously could'nt drive it. Customer service is second to none, and I would'nt take my car any where else.

After calling +10 mechanics in 2 days for an emergency problem on sparks/coils (not a fun, easy and short labour so some mechanics prefer simply to decline) Phil accepted to check the car quickly and solved the problem on next laboural day for less than 500$ when most mechanics I called were trying to scam us and asked 2300$. We were about to start a new job and definitely needed the car the fastest possible and Phil has been reactive, very professional and very helpful and human when others were just trying to take advantage of the situation. Thank you again so much, you can trust him without a doubt!

Phil, Emma, Tony and Jarrod have been looking after our fleet of vehicles for the best part of two- three years since they took over the entire Melbern Automotive Operation. Their experience with dealing with Vintage Volkswagens, aswell as any other late model vehicles we can throw at them speaks wonders for their knowledge and skills that they bring to the table. They have a range of new Air-Cooled Volkswagen parts on the shelf which is always very handy in comparison to needing to purchase interstate and await postage. Nothing ever seems to be too bigger of a problem for Phil and co. I couldn’t recommend them any higher than I can, Thanks for the ongoing support 👍

Excellent service and communication from Phil and Emma. Had a starter motor replacement and several other issues, all fixed- very happy. Would highly recommend Melbern Automotive in Invermay Launceston.

Went here for a Check engine light with codes flashing, they changed oil & charged me 250 . Now after driving back home I’ve realized its back to square one with the same old mechanical problem i had. Just avoid these guys !. Incompetent mechanics here not willing to listen to people and help out even when i told him its the problem with a blocked AVCS given the kms on the car which he basically brushed off ! He claims he is subaru expert??? Lol I really doubt that. Poor service
