All I can say is WOW, I am so obsessed with this place. Their customer service, concept and vibe is immaculate. I’ve been going consistently on a membership for the last 6 months and could not recommend it more. The membership pricing extends to your guests, which is a massive plus. You pick your “mood” for each massage session which is the scent and they all smell wonderful. You can add on private sauna sessions, which is a beautiful room where you can pick your own music, they have cooling lavender towels for you, fresh water, etc. I have to shoutout the massage therapist Lawrence specifically, I’ve never had anyone actually be able to get knots out of my back before going to him. Extremely knowledgeable about deep tissue and can provide ACTUAL deep pressure. If you are considering, just go! 👏🏻

Taylor was very kind and professional, and I genuinely enjoyed talking with her. Before the massage, I specifically explained that my main problem areas were my lower back and glutes, and she told me she could focus more attention on those areas. Unfortunately, when the session actually took place, those areas felt like they received very little attention. At the end of the appointment, she mentioned that during my next visit she could spend more time focusing on those problem areas. That comment left me feeling disappointed because this massage was a birthday gift and not something I can regularly afford. I had been looking forward to it for a long time because I’ve been dealing with pain in those areas for over a year, and I was hoping the concerns I discussed beforehand would be addressed during the appointment I was already paying for. I want to be clear that I don’t think Taylor is bad at her job at all. She was pleasant and professional throughout the appointment. However, I left feeling like my primary concerns were not adequately addressed, and I’m currently back on a heating pad because my lower back and glutes still hurt significantly. As someone who is very active and athletic, this has been an ongoing issue for me. Overall, I don’t personally feel the experience was worth the cost. While I appreciated Taylor’s kindness and professionalism, I left feeling disappointed that my primary concerns were not adequately addressed during the appointment. Because of that experience, I would likely look for a different massage establishment in the future rather than returning.

I recently booked an 80-minute session with Alejandro and I really enjoyed his massage style and therapeutic techniques. He was attentive to smoothing out knots I mentioned at the very beginning and incorporated reflexology which I really enjoyed. At the end, he finished the session by setting well intentions. Professional, relaxing, and knowledgeable!

This might have been the best massage I have ever had. This place is lovely. It is an oasis of calm tucked away in a small strip mall in Dilworth. It is quiet, but not like a library quiet. It is clean and smells good. Everyone is so nice here, too! I didn’t feel rushed and I felt understood. I can’t wait to come back!

Don’t waste your money here. My husband bought me a gift pack of 3 massages ($298) and it was never once communicated to us that they expire after 6 months. Not when he bought the gift box in person, not when I went for my first massage and not in the email confirmation, email receipt or gift box. (The expiration date is now listed online, but he purchased in person to get the gift box. He never needed to go online for any part of this). Typically gift cards never expire. The expiration date should have been overcommunicated because of this. With how difficult Mood House makes it to schedule without a membership, I wasn’t able to book a second massage for almost a year. When I tried, I was unable to because the credits had expired. I reached out for help and gave all the context of the situation, and the manager claimed that they had included the expiration in the gift box. They hadn’t. I know for a fact because I hate wasting money and I would have never let them expire. So I paid $298 + tip for one massage, and they don’t care to make it right. I was only offered a free sauna which is always an available offer. I’m sure this is part of their sales strategy- take our money and then don’t give us the service. Go support a small business and good hearted company because Mood House is not it.
