Sarai was absolutely amazing! She was so nice and truly seemed to care about my situation. I had given the wrong key to someone and had a 3 month old kitten who needed fed! She was honest, caring, and constantly kept me updated on the situation. I definitly recommend!
****CUSTOMER BEWARE-SCAM COMPANY **** If I could give ZERO stars I would. This company is an absolute scam AND their phone number has been connected to a scam locksmith company. Long story short, I called their service for a replacement key fob for my car. The locksmith showed up almost 3 hours after the time he stated. Then told me that the $127 he quoted me on the phone was actually going to be $150 for a new key fob. No big deal, and I paid in cash. He then took almost 2 hours to complete the key and then at the end told me that there was actually a problem with the car's computer and he could not program the key. So he stated that I would need to take to mechanic and once the computer was fixed the key would work immediately. Took my car to the dealership and was told that there was no issue with the car's computer AT ALL and the ONLY issue was the off brand key that the locksmith used. I was furious and called the phone number to request a refund. They advised that a manager would call me. They said this for three days. Finally someone called(certainly NOT a manager). He accused me of lying and said that in order to do the refund, they needed proof of my cars computer working and that the issue was the key. I gladly sent it over to him. He said a manager would call me. Well its been 3 weeks and no manager call or refund attempt has been made. I will actually be pursuing this through small claims court. They couldnt refund $150, their company must be doing bad. Because instead of a key I have a $150 off-brand paperweight
I can’t say enough good things about NaNa at Joy Locksmith. He was a true gentleman—friendly, professional, patient, and clearly an expert at what he does. My husband and I first met him in the parking lot of Joy Locksmith’s Woodruff Road office, where he cut and programmed two key fobs for our Jeep in about 15 minutes. The process was quick, smooth, and hassle-free. We also had an issue with our recently purchased 2023 KIA. The dealership had given us two key fobs, but we discovered a couple of days later that one of them didn’t work. NaNa tried everything he could to program it. He called his boss, the owner, and together they purchased the programming code from the KIA dealership using our vehicle’s VIN. They spent about 40 minutes troubleshooting. Eventually, they discovered the problem: the second key fob didn’t belong to our vehicle. It had a different chip than the original. They ordered the correct key fob and assured us they would come to our home to program it once it arrived. Throughout the entire process, NaNa remained calm, patient, and upbeat. He explained everything clearly—even while working outside in 90-degree heat. Today, he arrived at our house right on time and programmed the new key fob in about 20 minutes. Like last time, before leaving, he asked me to test everything to make sure it worked perfectly. What impressed us most was NaNa’s honesty, professionalism, and genuine commitment to excellent service. Joy Locksmith charged a fair price. We are very happy with the experience and highly recommend Joy Locksmith to anyone who needs reliable, trustworthy locksmith service. Five stars all the way!
Our son lost his car key over the weekend. We woke up on Monday morning with his car backed up to the garage blocking my wife in. I called 4 or 5 different locksmiths on the Greenville area and they were all outrageously priced with non of them being close to the others. After reaching out to Joy I received a call back in under 5 minutes. They were beyond nice and truly wanted to help! I explained that both my wife and son had to be taken to work and that I needed to make an appointment for the afternoon to ensure one of us could be home. It was no problem! We set a 4:30 appointment and at 4:20 I received a phone call to let me know they were 10 minutes out. Nana arrived and not only cut a new key for his car but programmed a remote for no extra charge! My wife said he was probably the nicest person she had ever met! He was fast to get the key made and the customer service was absolutely a 10 out of 10!! After he left I gave him a call to thank him for everything and to him it was no big deal! But to us it was so much more! These guys are in business to make money and as a business owner myself i understand the struggle in today’s times to turn a profit! He went above and beyond simply out kindness! And for that reason we will forever be a customer! I would recommend them to anyone! Don’t waste your time calling others they will absolutely give you a fair price and deliver the best service in the market!
