I was visiting from a professional development at Powdersville High school. I came by to renew my card and inquire about holds for one book for a research project with my students about the "ancient" game of marbles. Yes, they used the word ancient to describe the game. I had to remind them that marbles were produced in the 1920s if they paid attention to their US History classes. Anyhoo, I had the best encounter with Mr. Marvelous MIKE (silver fooooox) and Literati LAURA (former student of mine from GTCHS). The two of them helped me find the resources that I needed and help me to place hold on items that I will need for my upcoming adult book club at Palmetto High School. Go Mustangs! They were very knowledgeable, pleasant helped me be ready to take on the professional world. They are top shelf, no pun intended. My name is Weslica Johnson-ROCK and I approve of this library location.
Staff are the sweetest and very helpful. The meeting room I was in was very clean and big. HDMI cable was provided.
Love this library we walk there often and they have events there too for kids and adults. We also love the summer reading program.
