Joshua House is a therapeutic residential home for foster children on an 11-acre campus in Lutz. Founded in 1992 by a group of concerned citizens, it gives children ages 6 to 17 who have been removed from their homes a safe, family-like place to heal, with support around the clock.
Friends of Joshua House Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit formed in 2004 by the home's founders, runs Joshua House and raises the resources that support the children in its care. In 2020 the foundation bought the campus back and restored it, and the home has since reopened.
