I chose this restaurant for my friends who were visiting from overseas, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely amazing, delicious, beautifully presented, and crafted with great attention to detail. The cocktails were equally impressive, both in taste and presentation. We had a fantastic dining experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for exceptional food and drinks.

We went for the $115 Feast set menu. Delightful flavours and textures. The flatbread had the most amazing aroma and chew. The yellowfin tuna escabeche was another standout. We were too full to finish all the beautiful crunchy yet fluffy spuds - an unusual phenomenon for a carb addict like me! The dessert was a light and beautiful finish to a wonderful meal. Attentive service throughout. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

8/10. NOMAD provides refined meals inspired by Spanish, Moroccan and Middle Eastern cuisine. What I didn't expect is enjoying the appetisers more than the entrées. We had a lot of dishes so I'll just discuss my favourites. The 'Wood fired pine mushrooms' were extremely tender to the point where they could be cut with a spoon. The dish was also this experience of "what will I get next?" as the mushrooms looked the same as the pork cheek, giving an ever-evolving eating experience of having the tenderness and earthiness of the mushrooms, and the meatiness of the pork cheek. This was well-balanced with the refreshing sauce. I also really enjoyed the 'Wood fired flatbread'. I've never had za'atar before but the bread itself was extremely fluffy and airy, with pockets of char that gave brittleness and bitterness that contrasted with the crispiness and heaviness of the za'atar. However, there are a few dishes I believe can be improved on. I felt that the gaminess of the 'Great Ocean Duck kofta' was lacking, resulting in the loss of the distinctiveness and enjoyment of duck meat. Otherwise... I just thought it was okay, nothing too impressive. The 'Dry aged pork cutlet' was also just slightly overcooked and lacked funkiness of dry age. Additionally, I felt that there was an overusage of acidity and bitterness - the treviso, sauce and apple all had some form of this, which didn't allow for much resting room. Overall though, NOMAD has some incredible food and is definitely worth trying, especially for the appetisers (which I know is quite funny to recommend).

Really amazing food. Every dish was full of surprises, great flavors and execution. The cuttle fish with spicy oil and sweet creamed corn was fantastic. The wood fired carrots and the lamb were amazing, and I cook and bbq a lot of lamb. Service was particularly friendly and loved the busy but relatively quiet vibe. Views of the kitchen in the back were fun and appetizing. This is a high end restaurant that would do great in NY or Toronto but was still fairly priced for a dinner with drinks and dessert.

We had a quite high expectation for this place as we went to Reine & Larue and later found out that this place is in the same group. We arrived and the front was great hospitality. Very nice welcome tone and seat us. After seated straight away no one ask for sparkling or still. Pour still water straight away but they asked table next to us. Although this lady was nice and friendly enough. However it seems like they do not have section to manage. We keep having different servers and the service has no consistency as everyone does everything. The entrees were nice and yummy. Once we were having main there was not any checking in. For example; how was everything? We would be appreciated. We ordered steak which is the only beef steak on the menu. It was perfectly cook as medium rare however, no tenderness no taste of the meat, potato was great crispy but the seasoning wasnt our cup of tea. To be honest the taste of it should be better as it is $175 steak and it is the only option. We do not mind paying $200-400 range if it is good. Why put this on the menu if it is the only one and it is not good. Also for service to top up drinks, I asked the masculine caucasian lady for cocktail recommendation she asked with bored and annoyed tone what you like? And also did not suggest anything but said if I order anything are you gonna be happy about it in annoyed tone again. Maybe because I am asking her when she is trying to clean our plates? But there are many better way to approach that. For suggest; if you would not mind I will be back to take your drinks order in a few second sir. Better than throw the bad attitude in a quite expensive dinning. That kinda ruined our special night and the expectation with this restaurant. We ended up paying $533 for two which is not worth it at all. In this midrange in CBD there are so many better places to visit. To be honest I am happy to pay $300-400 more and have an amazing professional service with better ambience than this restaurant. You should send these staffs to study how Reine & LaRue does it. Would not recommended Over price and poor service consistency.
