They just installed a new unit for me in Atlantic Beach. Great guys on this crew. They did an excellent job. 5 stars all day long. Would highly recommend Penland for service & installation!
Penland was one of 4 companies recommended by neighbors. After calling multiple companies when we needed prompt service (HVAC not cooling on 80+ degree day), Penland was the only company that could place us on their schedule within 24 hours. My initial call was answered by what I assume is a virtual scheduling service. In a world where automated prompts can be frustrating, that was NOT the experience when calling into Penland. The call was simple, straightforward by providing clear expectations on the cost of a service call as well as the timeline in which I could expect the service call to take place. The virtual booking service allowed me to request that the technician call me before the service call. Immediately after ending the initial call I received a text confirming all the details of my appointment as well as introducing me to the exact technician that would be coming out to our home. I was contacted by Dylan within an hour of booking. I was able to provide him with details of what was happening and that we did not have air conditioning currently. He offered to move up our appointment and came out the same day. He was professional both over the phone and in person. He was knowledgeable and we felt the company’s pricing was fair. We will continue to call Penland for services and request Dylan if that’s an option.

Dillion from Penland Heating and Air Conditioning was fantastic. He called on the way to my appointment, arrived on time, and clearly explained what he found with my mini splits. After the visit, he followed up by phone to explain exactly what work was needed. His communication was excellent—he laid out the pricing clearly, and their payment system was super easy to use. I also received a detailed email receipt that explained the work to be done. There is some additional work needed, and I really appreciate that they’ll be sending me a clear, upfront quote for that as well. Great service, great communication, and an overall smooth process. Highly recommend!
I called Dylan from Penland when it got hot enough to check my air conditioning and he came promptly and checked everything out. I also signed up for a yearly maintenance contract to check my unit twice a year for heat and air conditioning. He called me when he was finished and told me about a small repair on the duct work that needed to be fixed and that everything else was fine. Dylan is a treasure andvI feel so much better knowing that I have an excellent technician to keep my system in tip-top condition.
