Another five-star experience with McClintock Heating & Cooling! JJ handled our service call, and I’m very happy with the outcome. After thoroughly inspecting the system, he determined that the problem was a defective thermostat—not the recent installation. I already had complete confidence in the precise and meticulous work performed by Zeke and his team. JJ went the extra mile by replacing the thermostat and checking the system multiple times to make certain everything was working properly before he left. He was thorough, professional and committed to getting it right. JJ is another five-star McClintock employee. I continue to be impressed by the quality of this company’s people and service.
We can’t say enough about the amazing experience and service we received for the installation of our new heat pump! From the sales process to the installation! We had an outstanding experience with McClintock Heating & Air. Our technician, JJ, was incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and personable from start to finish. We had originally called another company that quoted us over $1,000 for a repair. Thankfully, we decided to get a second opinion. JJ took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue and quickly determined that the other company’s diagnosis wasn’t even the actual problem. He identified the real issue, explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, and fixed it correctly. Not only was the repair done right, but the cost was significantly lower than what we had been quoted by the other company. It’s refreshing to find a technician who values honesty and getting the job done correctly instead of recommending unnecessary repairs. We’re extremely pleased with the service we received and will absolutely continue using McClintock for our HVAC needs. Highly recommend asking for JJ if you get the chance!
We had routine maintenance appointment today to check functionality of our 2 A/C units. McClintock offered to move the appointment earlier but I wasn’t available to be home. When the technician Baker (and additional technician Melville?) arrived still a little early, they were very respectful to my teenage son and followed company policy to remain outside until I got home. They were able to do some testing and cleaning and check coolant levels outside, then came inside to test thermostats, and functionality of the units when I was there. Baker was kind, efficient, and patient to explain the details of what he found. We bought our current units ~8 years ago from McClintock when our others failed mid-summer, and we have had McClintock service and maintain them ever since. Have been very satisfied with all of the technicians, office team, and overall service. Recommend them to my neighbors and friends!
Every step of the process is seamless with this company. I called as a last stitch effort to see what is wrong with my system, as well as to see if I can get a quote to replace my system. I had another company come out before McClintock who told me I would wither need to spend $8k in repairs, or replace my system for $18k!! The coordinator scheduled me with someone who she thought could help provide a high level diagnosis as well as quite the new system if needed. Sam Stives with McClintock came out the next morning to provide me with an estimate to replace my system and also check it out to give me a second opinion. When he arrived he was very polite and said he would take a look at the compressor to see if it even had all of the problems the other company stated. Sam took the system apart, took pictures and was very thorough. After his initial survey of the compressor he chatted with me and said everything looked great! He went through the pics with me and explained technical terms and was very patient. He was so honest to tell me nothing was wrong and all I may need is an electrician to come out. Technicians like him .... People like him are hard to come by and I really appreciate his attention to detail and honesty. There is no doubt in my mind this company is in it for the right reasons and truly wants to help folks. It's not always about the money and they proved today they really care about the customer. Even though I don't need their services for heating and air today, you better believe I will call them in the future!
