Comfort Shield has been great! We had our HVAC breaking during a heat wave. They came the same day to do a free quote for us. Once we signed the contract with them, they were able to come back for instal in 2 days. They were super patient with me as I had so many questions and was back and forth with them over email and they always promptly answer my questions. They were very fairly priced too. I got quotes from 4 other places and they were SO HIGH and for worse quality units. One of the quotes I got, the guy sat on his truck for about half an hour talking to somebody to finally give me a quote and when he came back, he overcharged us by 3k for “difficult access” to my air handler in the crawlspace. When Comfort Shield came to quote, Courtney said that our air handler was very easy access as it is right at the entrance of our crawlspace, and the installers were so happy when they saw where it was too because it was easy for them to reach. This only tells me how bad companies try to rip you off at all costs, so it is important that you have someone you trust to do this kind of work for you. I had another quote that was 3.5x more expensive than I paid with Comfort Shield for lower quality units too. If you are looking for an honest and affordable company, this is it, go with Comfort Shield. I will do my second upstairs unit with them again when it finally decides to retire.

Comfort Shield responded to our initial call immediately (unlike other companies). They showed up at the expected time and provided a written estimate the next day (unlike other companies) They arrived on time and finished on time (have I mentioned unlike other companies?). Their work was OUTSTANDING! I highly recommend you pick Comfort Shield and save yourself some pain in the butt. UPDATE: We needed electrical help on a new house project. With their previous work being so darn great, we didn’t hesitate to enlist their help again. We are TOTALLY SATISFIED with their electrical work … you will be too!
This is the first company that has been honest and not tried to upsell us on something we didn't need. John Whitley, our tech, arrived earlier than anticipated, was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond on a very hot day! Thurs evening at 6pm our furans went out. Called the after hours emergency line. Tech was here within an hour. Inducer motor failed. Part was ordered in the morning part and tech were here by 4pm. Furnace was fixed and we had heat, right before the ice cold temperatures and snow! Less than 24 hours. Amazing services no delays.
