Suncoast Stables & Riding Academy is a riding barn at 1108 Altamont Lane in Odessa, operating since 2007 under owner and trainer Krystle Lee. It is a lesson-and-training barn, not a trail-ride operation: the barn's website states plainly that it does not offer trail riding.
What you can do here
- Weekly private one-on-one riding lessons in Saddleseat, Dressage, Western and Hunt Seat
- Horsemanship training and seasonal camps for any skill level, with Thanksgiving, winter and advanced winter boot camps listed for 2026
- Customized training programs for horses and riders, plus show preparation at all levels

- Help finding a horse to buy, and leasing options
The horses and the barn
The program leans toward gaited and show breeds, including American Saddlebreds, Morgans, Arabians, Hackneys and Roadsters. The facility has a lighted covered arena, an open arena, stalls, wash racks and multiple pastures.
Credentials the barn reports
According to the barn's website, Krystle Lee holds a B.S. in Equestrian Science from William Woods University and has been named Instructor of the Year by the Florida State High Point Program. The barn lists FSHPP Barn of the Year titles for 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Before your first visit
All lessons and training are by appointment only. New riders submit a client application, release form and medical form before coming onto the property, arrive about 10 minutes early, and wear long pants and closed-toe, hard-soled shoes. ASTM/SEI-certified helmets are available at the barn. Contact the barn directly to ask about rider ages and current lesson availability.
