Past fifteen years has been wonderful, but I had the unfortunate experience of being completely ignored when at the cash register, the cashier was too busy discussing holiday plans with the customer in front of me. Now, I don’t have an issue with people socialising at all, but the customer was leaving and the cashier did not end the conversation nor look or even acknowledge me even though he was half way through scanning my items. I walked out without my groceries because I was so humiliated and angry at this blatant disrespect. I left everything behind including the bags I had gone into the store with, much to the obvious shock of the customer who had been in front of me, as when I got in my car, the customer was giving me a surprised look. May take time for me to return to the store.
