When buying a home, it's crucial to have a good salesperson by your side. Renee Riordan was an invaluable asset throughout the entire process from start to finish. Whenever there was a question she couldn't immediately answer, she would follow up with the information later and always kept us updated as our home was being built. In addition to working with a great agent, it's equally important for buyers to educate themselves about the real estate process. After all, you're making a significant investment, and you should ensure you're happy with your purchase. Knowledge is key to making confident decisions and avoiding potential surprises.
¡Me encanta mi casita! …❤️ . The decorating process was a lot of fun. They had many options to choose from. Becky Jenkins and Chave were very patient, detailed oriented and have very good taste. Becky was very easy to reach when I had questions. I used an inspector because I’m not a contractor and Renee helped with all my main issues before closing. ¡Gracias Mobley!
Neisha and team were great during the entire building process! We love our new home and custom designs...not many builders allow customizations anymore so we were thrilled when we had the opportunity to design our home the way we wanted to and in the perfect location.
You can tell a lot about an organization based on how they handle feedback. Instead of working to address or improve customer concerns, this builder decided to disable the review feature on their Facebook page. This effectively removed all of the feedback that recent customers shared about Mobley Homes and covered up so many of the complaints and concerns that were listed there. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a builder to KEEP LOOKING. Our experience with Mobley has been awful. We were mislead into believing our home would be finished in 6 months. It took 12 months before we were able to close. It has been about 4 months since we closed and we have been constantly finding issues with the home. Our plumbing was done incorrectly and caused our toilets and outdoor spigots to have hot water. Our roof was leaking through into our kitchen. Caulk on our baseboards is peeling and even grout in our bathroom is showing holes now. We have had A/C ducting issues that required part of our home to have the ducting removed and replaced. Insulation was not done in areas required by code.We had a sewer backup due to issues with plumbing done at the street connection. Paint is peeling off exterior doors. It took MONTHS to get our punchlist items completed. Everything this builder does is the absolute cheapest of the cheap and there is ZERO pride in any of the work I have seen. Their production team is either unwilling or incapable of fulfilling promises made. If you didn't get it in writing - it's not happening. Don’t listen to anything their staff says, we were constantly strung along to believe our home would be ready in 30-60-90 days. In the end it has been 13 months since we signed our agreement and the nightmare still isn’t over. In fact, the only person who has been honest and upfront with us is their warranty guy Bo who has been stuck fixing and correcting all of the issues we have had. Please don’t fall for the “free upgrades” or “closing cost flex cash” offers like we did. The title company they use is owned by the Mobley family and the prices charged are extremely high comparatively. Upgrade options from the builder are disgustingly overpriced so that whatever offer they give you doesn’t go very far. If you are considering building with this builder I urge you to talk to some of their current/new customers. Don’t talk to customers from years ago. Only current customers know what the experience and quality is like with this builder and the work they are doing today. We spent $340,000+ on a VILLA and the majority of construction materials used are bottom of the barrel. Don’t let them pressure you into signing a contract - read it first. Spend $300 and have a real estate attorney read it with you. Their contract is written by their attorney and is designed to protect them, not the buyer. We had minimal recourse throughout the process because the contract allows them to have TWO YEARS to build the home (4x longer than we were sold on) and has almost zero accountability on their part when things go wrong. We have had fundamental issues with every major trade in our home and I have witnessed neighbors go through flooding and sewer backups in their brand new homes.Anyone who would like more information or pictures is welcome to reach out to me or ask around the development at the Villas at Twin Lakes. At the time of writing this review I know of several extremely unsatisfied buyers who are now stuck dealing with Mobley Home’s mess.
Not easy building a house long distance from another state but Mobley accommodated us and rescheduled appointments for our convenience. They even made themselves available on weekends. We had so many questions for assistance with vendors, they gave us all the resources we needed for setting up cable, internet, landscape, gutters and more.
