I wish I didn't have a Woods experience, but since I do, here it goes. My Mama passed in December. Woods took care of her entirely, from picking her up, getting Mama ready, and then to cremation. They were with me every step of the way! They never made me feel like a burden, never once brushed off an email, and were timely and honest with all questions and requests (Finger prints, small ash baggies for build-a-bears, and her gorgeous hair. They also did my sweet cremation necklaces.). Thank you for letting me know about grief being normal and that it never is the same per person. (Thank you for letting me write Mama's obituary! My Mama loved her job as a CNA and She'd give you the shirt off her back if she even thought you needed it!), helping me through the first few months (The daily emails are truly worth the weight in gold! I can't tell you how on point they are!), and seeing that I had my ducks in a row. I can't ever repay y'all, but I am eternally grateful for everything!!!! Thank y'all so much and virtual hugs for everyone!

Woods Mortuary did a fantastic job making a difficult situation as painless as possible. They provided guidance and support for the whole family as we navigated the celebration of life for my mom. We were involved in every decision and the staff took care of all the details behind the scenes. They coordinated with a local florist to custom make the flower spread with pink roses and Stargazer lillies. They even accomodated my mom's hair stylists and allowed her to style her hair for the last time. The chapel service was perfect and the family appreciated Woods taking the time to find my mom's favorite song so it could be incorporated into the service. I can't say enough how caring and helpful everyone was. I couldn't have found a better mortuary to take care of my mom.

They were so helpful, nice and patient with us. They helped me and my sisters put together a beautiful service for my mama. Levi was so nice and helpful. He even took time out of his Thanksgiving holiday to make sure everything was where it needed to be. He even reapplied my mom's makeup 4 times until it was perfect. He was patient and she looked so much more like herself. I hope you don't have to be in this circumstance, but if you find yourself losing a loved one I definitely recommend Woods Mortuary.

The Wood Mortuary has been there for my family for many years. They are professional from start to finish. The friendly, caring staff will work with you every step of the way. Their guidance is invaluable during your most difficult moments. I was very happy with the way they cared for both my mother and my father upon their deaths. I would highly recommend the caring folks you will find at The Wood Mortuary.

I found myself lost a week and a half ago when I lost my husband. My friends reached out to several mortuaries. Wood Mortuary answered were welcoming, kind and immediately gave us an appointment. The other mortuaries we called did not do this they could honestly care less. Upon arriving they wrapped their arms around us and I knew they were the people to use. Kelly Orr guided me, walked with me and was simply put amazing. He did everything for my husbands funeral and handled it so well. He never let me down and I will be forever thankful for his help during this time. Chris Honeycutt was there for anything I needed if Kelly was not there. I honestly felt as if I was the only client they had even though I knew that was not the case. If anyone ever has to go through this I would immediately tell them to contact The Wood Mortuary. They are brilliant and kind two things you need when your world falls apart. I am eternally grateful for Kelly and the entire team at The Wood Mortuary.
