Tried the Morning Goat this morning. I was craving traditional Lox and Bagel. This isn’t the place for that, but what they did offer was very unique and creative. Their salmon is mixed with cream cheese of course, but also cheddar cheese, jalapeno and capers. They accommodated my request to add tomato slice, two large beautiful slices actually, and the bagel was wonderful. Toasted, chewy, as it should be. My dish came with excellent home fries - highly seasoned, crispy but creamy inside. Loved them. My wife had a brkft wrap that was also quite unique, came with a side of queso dip, stuffed with plenty of egg and cheese, tater tots too. One thing I liked the best was the owner taking the time to explain to me some of the history of the building, the work he and his father put into its transformation from warehouse to restaurant and bar. It’s a perfect example of so many old brick buildings being repurposed, reused, given new life. Love that about the south. Highly recommend this place, looking forward to returning, perhaps for dinner.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We had to wait 5-10 minutes, but it was well worth the wait! The staff is very friendly and prompt when asked for something. I got the breakfast burger and my wife got the Caribbean chicken and waffles. The breakfast board was a great addition since we were so hungry. Great spot and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good priced breakfast and great service.
Great little place for breakfast. Understaffed but still great service! Not sure if it was the manager owner, but he was so chill with how busy it was. Love the breakfast Board idea. Recommend the chicken fried steak and biscuit with gravy.
Loved it! A cozy, perfect spot for a morning visit. The food was amazing—tasty and fresh. I tried the egg burrito wrap without bacon or sausage and finished it easily with no heavy feeling, just great flavor. My friend had the salmon bagel, and it was delicious.
I was visiting from Atlanta and wanted a local place to enjoy. I came across this place on IG and figure I will give it a try. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed and seated within a minute. We took a while to order our food because my friends and I were catching up. They were patient with us and they recommended the Avocado Toast for me, the Caribbean Chicken and I can't remember the other. My avocado toast was very delicious and hearty. They didn't take a long time to bring our food out which I loved. However, my friend got the Caribbean Chicken and Waffles and that was delicious. It was so good, we all ate off of her plate AND ordered another serving. It was the BEST! perfect balance of spiciness. Overall we had a great time. The service was top notch and I will definitely visit again next time in town. You won't be disappointed.
