Really nice location in South Pasadena. Review is for food, not business. Cheeseburger: nothing to really brag or rave about. Meat is better than another place in Alhambra. Veggies are super fresh. You CAN taste the freshness. Chili cheese fries: same as burger. Nothing to rave about. The chili is different! Wouldn't buy again. More like chili/gravy??
Hi Life is one of those places you didn't know you needed in your life. They have the most flavorful chicken I've ever had at a burger stand. Hands down the best chicken salad you can get at a take out spot. Located on Fair oaks just off the beaten path of South Pasadena city center. It gives you that old school Burger joint vibe. Staff is relatively friendly and helpful. Anytime I am in the area this is a must stop for lunch. Whether you are craving a salad or a burger this is a Mom and Pop shop that's worth the stop.
We love burgers and had to try Hi-Life Burgers. The staff was nice and the place is clean. We had a chicken burger and a meat burger that was delicious. Everything was fresh and tasted great.
Great char- grilled burgers that taste like they're done on an outdoor BBQ. But they have a wide variety of comfort foods like pastrami sandwiches & breakfasts. I often get the Greek salad with chicken & it's so fresh and tasty I don't need dressing. The chicken is marinated with a wonderfully savory marinade that adds to the grill flavor without tasting fake. And the portion sizes are very generous, although you can get a child's meal of some things. The seating area inside is small & can get loud with kids getting a snack after school, but there are also picnic booth-type seating outdoors
Classic burger joint that serves fresh food. Priced a bit higher than average for your basic cheeseburger combo but good for nonetheless. The combo is $16 and some change. They give you a load of fries which can be shared.
