One word. Outstanding. From start to finish, my experience with Ellisons has been nothing short of outstanding. From the first encounter on the valuation of our home, Aidan Purtill was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and ultimately realistic with price. He talked us through a strategy for our home, and within a week of off-market viewings we had multiple offers, with it going to best and final bids. It was Callum who we ended up dealing with throughout the process, and he went above and beyond to ensure that the transaction was as smooth as possible. Whenever we hit bumps during the conveyancing, he was quick to react and keep things moving. Additionally, his ability to negotiate during our own sale, but also in assistance with our onward purchase was invaluable. I also would like to send my thanks to Mahul and Stephen, who were also both a pleasure to deal with throughout the process. Always willing to help out whenever Callum was out of office, and their positive, professional attitude was always highly reassuring. Ultimately, Ellisons Wimbledon really does feel like you’re dealing with an A team, and I always felt in great hands. The way that they work together is second to none, and far better than my experience with other local agents. It goes without saying, but if you’re looking to Buy or Sell in the area - use Ellisons!

I made a very unusual request to Ellisons at Wimbledon and the result was exceptional! I was trying to locate someone who I had lost contact with many years ago. The only information I had was their address from which they moved from in 2021, that Ellisons were involved and the person’s first name. With the help of Aidan Purtill’s quick response and endeavours I have managed to make contact. A call well behold duty and a 5 star performance. Many many thanks to Aidan.

We had a poor experience of trying to buy a 3 bedroom terraced house in the South Park Gardens area with Ellisons Wimbledon from September 2025 to January 2026. After completing our first viewing with Amanda in September which was well managed, our second viewing was at 1pm with Mahul. He arrived at least 5 minutes late, then asked us several times to leave the property before 1:15pm with the next viewers standing outside. Whilst I know this is a successful high pressure sales tactic, it is disappointing to experience this when making such an important decision. When our offer was accepted, Ellisons told us to open a bottle of bubbly, celebrate and that the property was taken off the market. A day later Ellisons phoned stating another offer had been received and we should increase our offer. I recognise gazumping is allowed and a decision for the sellers but this seems to be condoned by Ellisons. The communication from Ellisons was very poor during conveyancing where we had to chase for almost everything. On 2 occasions Ellisons stated information from the seller had not been received because they had gone into my solicitor’s virus checker when in fact the information simply had not been sent. Ultimately, because of a serious conveyancing issue which was only revealed to us near the point of exchange we were forced to withdraw our offer. I feel Ellisons made the purchasing process extremely difficult and would not recommend them to anyone for buying/selling a property. We’ve had a much more positive experience with other Wimbledon estate agents since.

Ellisons valuation to completion in 8 WEEKS! An INCREDIBLE team (Aidan, Amanda, Lewis) that we are so glad we went with to sell our house. The only things you can control in selling a property is 1. The condition/presentation of your house and 2. The estate agent you choose. With a competitive buy process, we had to move quickly to secure our dream home, therefore we did ALOT of research before we choose the agent. This was our logic for Ellisons: 1. They have good amount of local listings in our price range - meaning they will likely have a good database of active buyers 2. Their listing to sale ratio was high - showing they don't just list properties, they price them correctly and actively sell them 3. They have good online reviews 4. They showed up prepared to the valuation with a strategy to sell the property - strong local knowledge 5. They didn't ask for a long lock in contract and had reasonable fees - they were confident they could sell What this resulted in was; a curated list of potential buyers that fitted in with our timeline, a single open day for our house (minimising the disruption of viewings), active communication from the buyers for feedback/second viewings and professional negotiation on our behalf to close the deal. We are over the moon with our new house and it is all thanks to Aidan, Amanda and Lewis - thank you so much, we wish you all the best.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience with Ellisons Lettings Wimbledon. The team was professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. A special thank you to Ryan, Senior Lettings Negotiator, who went above and beyond to assist us. He was always available to answer questions, kept us informed every step of the way, and made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward.
