As a healthcare provider myself, the rating on Google should have steered me away. This has nothing to do with the quality of the medical providers in the office as I did not have the chance to meet them. Their front desk is an absolute mess. No one answers the phone and you continue to get hung up on every time you try to call. I was also scheduled for a new patient appointment and walked in and was told that the provider is not even working that day. But my name was on a paper as well as the providers name for the exact time of my physical. I have zero confidence in this office and frankly will look at other healthcare systems for my primary care needs. Stay far away until they revamp their office management.
Dr Nalley is the first family doctor that I’ve had that actually listens and has made my life better for it. I’ve moved my whole family over to her office. Edit: ABOVE and beyond any doctor I’ve ever encountered. Edit: still extremely happy with this office and provider. The nurses are 10/10 also:)
Dr. Hood is a phenomenal practitioner, she has made me feel more seen and heard than any primary care physician I have ever had. She's worked with me through many issues and more than one diagnosis. She has always makes her patients feel prioritized and cared for. Nurse Joy is also a delight. So incredibly down to earth and genuine, the team here truly makes you feel like you're in a safe space. For so many of us the Dr is anxiety inducing and often we are there bc something is wrong. The last thing you want is a bad experience at the Dr office. Thank you Greenville Family Medicine for putting me at ease through some of the most stressful points in my life.
Look elsewhere. Unprofessional assistant area in the back. The whole "hey how ya doing...kids big yet... for the umpteenth time and hand me some pamphlets (from the doctor)... don't know what to do with patients unless they're vegan I suppose. Be friends with Google first, then I guess Motley will have something relevant to say. I mentioned I was not eating meat and its like an uh huh ok. You've never been overweight so you're the last person who knows what to say or do to help others. You don't help people get there, you help them maintain. Bunk if you're not there yet. Not a good fit. Not well rounded with personality and knowledge, or at least I didn't experience it. So excited to go to an alternative lifestyle doc but came out the same. Googling.
Dr. Cassidy Hood was efficient and pleasant to speak with. Nice traits in a Doctor. Would recommend.
