As an honest appraisal reviewing Dexters having sold through them, the service was 'ok', which I think on balance looks like three stars, relative to what they charge. Communication from them at times was confused, with lots of different personnel at different times having carriage. Ultimately it's a professional services business and compared to other experiences of other estate agencies, falls short of excellent or exemplary. However, Charlie, the manager is standout, genuinely hardworking and on the ball, but in hindsight (which is always 20 20), I would've taken a few more soundings from those who have sold through them before engaging. Looking at other reviews there's clearly a bit of a tendency to rate 5 stars once you're 'through it' with a sale, purchase, or a securing a tenancy agreement, as it's 'done', but this is meant as an frank appraisal for anyone reading.
Dexters successfully worked through selling my flat. Leah took ownership throughout the entire sales process to get a selection of buyers, adjusting strategy to achieve results. She went above and beyond, very enthusiastic and constant communication. Also Srini in the additional follow up. Many thanks!
Dexters has a very good team and excellent customer service. Leah was fantastic to work with throughout the whole process. She was easy to talk to, always available when I needed her, and very patient in clarifying any doubts I had about the properties. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and was keen to show me all the available options that matched my needs. Outstanding service from valuation to completion in a tight timeframe. Impressive amount of legitimate viewings, and the team were all over everything until we closed. Special mention to Aimee Morison and Charlie Shinn, but the whole team were professional and great to work with.
