I requested a residential interior painting estimate for my 3,400 sq ft home and was quoted $38,500. This is a standard residential property, not a commercial space. After obtaining multiple additional estimates, it became clear that this price was dramatically higher than normal residential rates, even when accounting for prep work, drywall repairs, priming, and materials. What is concerning is not just the number itself, but the approach. This quote appeared to assume the homeowner would not question it or compare it to market standards. When I followed up to ask for clarification, I received no response. This experience gave the impression of pricing being presented based on what the contractor believed they could get away with, rather than fair, transparent residential pricing. That is not how ethical businesses operate. Homeowners should be especially cautious, ask detailed questions, and get multiple estimates before engaging with this company. Transparency, honesty, and respect for customers matter — and this experience lacked all three.

I did not get his info from a referral. I saw his van on the freeway. Took a picture. Called him next day. When Douglas first walked into my home, I could tell he was trustworthy. He came in with enthusiasm and many ideas. We had several contractors bid on our project. He was not the cheapest , but gave him the contract. He and Sergio started a few days after we signed. They were very professional, clean and respectful of the the whole work area. Douglas is a big proponent in repairing inside out and not just surface anesthetics. kept us abreast of all "REQUIRED" work. Although it add the cost, these REQIURED" keep you from revisiting a project prematurely. I enjoyed working with him and his crew and will definitely do work with him again If your on the hunt for someone that produces quality work and that you can trust, Douglas is your guy 👍🏿👍🏿

Douglas and his crew were fantastic. Very professional, polite, fair pricing, and did excellent work. They painted the exterior of my house and replaced a patio door. They went above and beyond and helped remove shrubs necessary to get to the exterior, pulled out nails and old wires connected to the house, and fixed trim and window seals. All of the neighbors are very impressed with the outcome. I would highly recommend Douglas for any painting or remodeling projects.

After receiving other bids, I chose Douglas because he was very enthusiastic about doing the job (wood siding repair and exterior painting). I had noticed other homes on my street that he had painted and his attention to detail. The job was finished in good time and cleanup was thorough. Five-star recommended.
