Island Car Rental was simply wow! My friends and I had a wonderful experience and could not recommend it enough. We rented the convertible Bronco for our spring break trip, and it truly elevated the entire experience. It was the perfect combination of style and fun, adding a memorable touch to our travels. We will definitely be coming back!
After hiring 100s of cars over my years, I have never before left a negative review for any service I have ever used. In fact, I don't usually leave reviews. I have never experienced such a potentially dangerous car. I don't know why Island Car Rental choose to hire out cars in such a dangerous condition, unroadworthy and unserviced condition.I don't know what they actually do in their pre-rental inspections that allows this to happen, and obviously, the poor condition of the vehicle was over an extended period. I just want to warn others before a serious incident occurs as a result, the pictures tell the real story- be very careful, please. Passenger safety must take priority over cost saving measures
We had a great experience with Island Car Rental. The car was clean and comfortable, and the pickup and return process was easy. I rented a car on two separate days and had reliable experiences both times. The attendant helping us (man with one piece jerseys working Friday-Sunday) was friendly and professional. He gave us awesome recommendations for the island and ensured the car was clean/fully fueled. Return and location were also easy and convenient.
