By far the worst, most incompetent, uncaring and dishonest estate agents I have ever experienced, which is really saying something. Our experience ranged from lying (they told us the place we rented included access to garden and it didn't. We found that out after signing the contract...To ignoring us for days and days during a dangerous leak that left buckets upon buckets worth of water on our floor and returned constantly for 4 years. One time I came home to find my locks changed and upon calling them, they sounded bored on the phone talking to me and left me hanging around what on earth was going on. Any issue where we needed them, they couldn't care less about helping us but when they needed something from us, we got endless harassment. When we were moving out, I had dozens of emails harassing me about it, agents randomly knocking on the door one time. They harass you endlessly if they want something but ignore you if you need something from them. I still get daily emails from them demanding things even after I've moved out and when I asked them to stop emailing me they said they can't because they don't know how to use their own internal systems. (Probably a lie). They are also highly incompetent and lazy. They were constantly late to flat inspections and one time didn't come at all! If you are expecting them to do any work as a tenant or landlord, I guarantee they will do as little as possible. They were supposed to be managing our property on behalf of our landlord but because they never responded to emails, she ended up going back to managing instead. Useless. Liars. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!! UPDATE: Brinkleys have now lied in their response to this review, which is very funny given that my complaint is about their lying. You know very well I have complained to you about every single thing in this review, bar possibly the garden thing, but also what exactly would be the point of complaining that an estate agent lied about you having a garden AFTER you've signed the contract. It was a generic contract as well so talked about "maintaining garden" which is why i didn't catch it till we moved in. Besides that, you are well aware of every other thing I have mentioned here and are lying about it for some reason. Lying that you never received a phone call from me complaining about the locks being changed without my knowledge is especially scummy, as you very well know how unacceptable that is and how awful it would be to have someone not give a toss on the phone. Very bizarre behaviour. Stay clear everyone!!!!

She was also able to answer all my questions, which made the whole process so much easier. 100% recommend to any individual looking for their first property.

I had a very disappointing experience with Brinkleys ,was in the process of renting a property and my reference check passed without any issues. I was also willing to proceed with a professional guarantor service at my own cost to ensure everything moved forward smoothly. Despite this, my application was suddenly rejected by the landlord and the process was cancelled without any clear explanation. This was extremely frustrating, especially since everything seemed to be in order and I had already invested time and effort into the process. The lack of transparency and abrupt cancellation made the whole experience feel unprofessional and unreliable. I would advise others to be cautious, as the process may not be as straightforward as expected.

As a Landlord I really appreciate working with Shazelle. She is incredibly helpful, calm and proactive in her approach to her job. She is always happy to pick up the phone to talk things through and has been really helpful in navigating and understanding the new legislation as it unfolds.
