I moved from raleigh to cary and tried that salon once was satisfied with the result , later on I took my sister to and it was a huge disappointment. I think good result was only one time chance. I am writing this review as the sister of the client, and also as a client myself. I took my sister to this salon, and unfortunately both of us had a very bad experience. I also had my hair colored at this salon, and my color was completely ruined. On top of that, my gray hair was not covered at all, even though that was clearly requested and paid for. The result was uneven, unprofessional, and far from what was promised. My sister’s experience was just as bad. Her gray hair was not covered properly, her highlight roots were uneven, and her hair was left looking damaged. Because of the poor work, we now both have to pay another salon to fix the mistakes, which is unacceptable. The salon later tried to claim that my sister was only complaining about the price and even implied she was being dishonest. This is not true. The only reason price was discussed is because we were overcharged for services that were not delivered correctly and actually ruined our hair. Any customer would question the price when the quality is this poor. When we asked for a refund or a reasonable solution, it was refused. Instead of taking responsibility, the salon chose to blame the clients. I truly regret bringing my sister here, and I am embarrassed that I recommended this place. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this salon to anyone who expects professional work, honest pricing, and accountability. I am going back to Raleigh BRIER CREEK BLO , only reason I tried this SALIN BC FINDING APPOINTMENT AT BLO IS DIFFICULT. I Got my lesson will never change my salon ever again.

Shayla did an AMAZING job on my hair!! I had family photos on a Saturday and she was able to squeeze me in last min the day before the photos! The highlights turned out wonderful and were picture perfect. I had a great experience and she made me feel relaxed and comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend Shayla and will definitely be coming back for this summer-ready look!!

I absolutely love my hair! Stephanie did an amazing job and exceeded my expectations. She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. My hair looks beautiful and exactly how I envisioned it. The salon has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the owner is so sweet and kind. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and creating a great experience. I left feeling confident and couldn’t be happier with my hair. I highly recommend Stephanie!

I want to start by saying the purpose of this review is not to bash Tina Vora Salon, but to make them aware of a change that is needed. My experience had absolutely nothing to do with the appearance of the salon or the customer service, because I was satisfied with both. However, my stylist did a very poor job on my hair. I’ve been blonde for years, I do not have a relaxer, and my hair is not kinky. I’ve consistently worn my hair blown out, so I’m very familiar with how it should look and feel. Unfortunately, as soon as someone sees blonde hair, they often want to blame the bleach for every issue, and that was not the case here. I’m someone who doesn’t mind investing in my hair, so price is not the issue. But if a stylist is not experienced with ethnic hair, they should not be assigned to those clients. That’s where management should step in, there should have been recognition that the service wasn’t being executed properly, along with coaching or intervention. I ended up paying $139 for a result I was very unhappy with. Unfortunately, this was my first and last visit.

I’ve been here once before and it was fine which is why it’s 2 stars and not 1. I have no complaints about my haircut, even though it was not great - what you end up with depends on how you communicate with the stylist and it is not always their fault. My issue: I asked VERY clearly on the phone for the cost for a cut and wash (no blow dry or styling). I was quoted ~$75 and made the appointment. I got exactly a cut and wash but when it was time to pay, the stylist charged double that. I told her what I was quoted on the phone and she said she’s not sure what the front desk associate might have told me :( I’ve paid $400+ for hair appointments before, so the price is not the issue as much as the quote vs actual cost. Pros: the cut was fine, quick, and they were able to make an appointment for the next day.
