Twoheys is an excellent American restaurant located in South Pasadena. The drive was relatively easy. I was able to find street parking and after a short walk, I was at the restaurant already, but valet parking is also an option. Huge shoutout to our server for the evening, Leonidas and to the very kind, nice and professional owner of the restaurant Tanya. Now some of the appetizers: the 2ees OG Onion Rings are fantastic. I don't even like onion rings at all, yet I couldn't stop eating these. They side them with and excellent barbecue sauce, but even without the sauce, they would taste excellent, also the owner of the restaurant mentioned that their onion rings, ranch dressing, and barbecue sauce are made fresh every day, which I totally believe. They were very fresh. The whipped feta and hot honey, alongside the pita bread was also great. The feta cheese had an excellent consistency and a very unique flavor, pairing well with the pita bread or even on its own. Now for the main entrees: the Lindsey Salad was fresh, had a great protein-to-veggies ratio, a unique mix and tasted very fresh. The mushroom truffle pasta is like if fettuccine alfredo was even better and made with penne pasta instead. That was definitely the heavy hitter, and my favorite meal from the evening. The Mediterranean lamb chops were great but definitely nothing of a stand out. However, the dessert I got to try: the Twohey's signature mini sundae is another 10/10. The chocolate sundae can be purchased at the cash register (and I do recommend you buying at least a couple, they're THAT good). I also got to try their signature lemonade (a frosted lemonade that they do fresh). They also have orange juice in case people want something different. They also have daily specials, I got to enjoy the lamb chops, and Wednesdays are the days to get them. They've been around since 1943, and it shows, only a restaurant this good can stay in business for so long. 10/10

Had the Rueben and wife had tuna melt. Her was hot as requested. Went back yesterday Dutch Apple pancake, omg sweet and delicious. 20 min wait is worth it. Go for it. I guess we like this place just got back, I had the dip and we tried the Whip Feta Appetizer, I think it needs more honey.

If you like breakfast, this is the place to go!! They have great chicken n' waffle. They also have omelettes, and classic American breakfast like bacon eggs and toasts. I think pretty much anything you get here, you'll end up liking it!! I come here for fried chicken n' waffle because that just does it for me, completes my meal. I like to add a side of mixed berries and whip cream. Also extra gravy for the chicken. They make it fresh and everything tastes great!!

This feels like the best version of a fancy diner where I would be happy eating like 10 different things off the menu. I had the prime rib dip with home made chips and both the sandwich + dip and the chips were fantastic. It ended up being a nice big plate. So good. My partner had a short rib melt and loved it. His potato salad was fantastic, with some olive oil and scallions. They have a great happy hour and since we were there early, we also had some decent margarita and mojito. Edit: We've been back a bunch of times since the first review. Several sandwiches are good, the chocolate milkshake is great, the poutine sauce is awesome (except for a little too many mushrooms). Overall, a hit with everyone we bring here.

Very disappointed with our visit yesterday. I came with my daughter last year when they had the lobster rolls. It was great, so I went again yesterday as it was offered as part of their July monthly special. Well, the item came and looked exactly as I remembered, but after the first bite, I discovered that the lobster pieces were only spread on the top of the brioche bun. Below this visible layer, it was just plain shredded lettuce. It was a total disappointment and I felt I got cheated. I remember the prior version last year had lobster pieces throughout, not just the top. I considered myself to be a regular and my wife loves this place, but now I have second thoughts.
