I called 7 days ago to have someone assess my air conditioning unit. I trusted I would receive a fair and reliable assessment. Dustin arrived timely and immediately opened the outside unit to check the capacitor. He noted it was NOT a problem. Unfortunately, he looked worried because a much bigger problem was causing my unit to not turn on. MY COMPRESSOR! He ran a few diagnostics and within a matter of a FEW minutes, informed me that my compressor was completely blown out. He disconnected and advised me to keep the breaker OFF, but to make sure, he disconnected the compressor. I was devastated because I had just paid the company $7,400 two years ago to repair my coil. Now he has quoting me $4,500. I knew I couldn't afford it because I had recently lost my business and like most of America, I'm living on a tight budget. An hour after leaving, he texted me a new price that was more reasonable, but I still would have to wait a few paychecks to be able to pay. Two days later, Linda called to ask me what they could do to help me. She informed me that the quote was good for 30 days. The next day, another HVAC technician evaluated my unit. This independent contractor, Frank completed a very thorough (48 minutes) assessment of the unit, including my capacitor and compressor. He showed me the numbers on the compactor, which showed 41. He said I would need to replace it, but not right now. Then he showed me the readings from the compressor. I saw the numbers on his screen and heard the beeping noises. He reconnected the unit and told me to turn on my thermostat and then flip on the breaker. As soon as I did, the unit started spinning. Imagine my shock! No problems with the compressor or the unit. It was a MIRACLE! I prayed for a miracle and God heard my prayers. Then Frank came inside to survey the thermostat. It was completely fried. Thankfully, he had Pro Series thermostats to replace my broken one. They were a little expensive, but I like the touch screen. My home went from 84 degrees to 72 within an hour. I was freezing. I now keep it on 74. If there is one message I can convey, it's to be patient and pray. I personally could NEVER TRUST Air Tech of Humble, but some people have had good experiences. Frank warned me about this company, so I'm warning everyone else. I didn't have the $4,500, but I didn't need it because ABSOLUTELY NOTHING was wrong with the unit. Get a 2nd opinion! Be weary of technicians who immediately quote you the most expensive part to fix but never show you diagnostic readings. Anyway, I'm forever grateful 💓 for FRANK, WHO DOES NOT WORK WITH Air Tech of Humble. He's honest and has integrity.

This was my first time using Air Tech of Humble. The technician was punctual, courteous, professional, and thorough. Each year I have a maintenance check of my central air unit system. The previous year, I paid for a different company to clean the ducts and vents. Presently, my central air unit system is still working but images of the internal aspects of the system unveiled potential problems with time. I was pleased to learn of this so that I may be better prepared to address any forecasted issues. Oscar did an awesome job today with my A/C maintenance. He was professional and courteous. I needed a new capacitor and Oscar had to go back to his store to get it. He returned within 30 minutes and got the part replaced very quickly. I would definitely recommend Air Tech.

Shaun arrived early in the time slot that was scheduled (10am-2pm). He was courteous and checked both the upstairs and downstairs systems both inside and out. He was able to determine the cause of the leak at the vent in the bedroom (lack of insulation causing the vent to sweat). He also provided the model of the filters that needed to be changed for both A/C units. The service was covered by the service contract that I signed up before his visit.

Our technician Isaac came out for a routine service of our HVAC system and did a great job servicing the unit and explaining everything such as how to continue keeping the system running optimally. I highly recommend Air Tech for your HVAC needs.
